    Much Like A Maze

Philip K. Dick is my all-time favorite author, and I just finished reading this one. I liked it. It was reminiscent of concepts like those of Ten Little Indians and Lord Of The Flies because these dozen or so people who don't know each other are grouped together on some random planet and await their "instructions", and madness ensues, I'm not about to spoil it but you get the picture. The funny thing is though is that after reading the back cover and imagining what the book would be about, I really wasn't even close. You think you know what a Philip K. Dick book is going to be like, and then you read it. And that's better because he said a sci-fi novel is only good or great when the ideas are new and imperative. It had me totally clueless as to "who done it?" and "what's going on?" til the last chapter, which I thought was sweet. And there's lovable creatures inhabiting the planet of Delmak-O. Let your imagination soar with PKD novels.

    a good solid Dick book

This is among my favorite Phil Dick books. A good read for anybody, evey those who are not sci-fi fans. Dick always has an uncanny way of droping the reader into the middle of some far off bizarre future and eepertly bringing them up to speed as you go.
