best book I've come across so far
I tried Kaplan the first time around and I could not have been more disappointed!! I found Kaplan to be vague and by the time I finished...I felt I had not learned a thing. Needless to say, the first LSAT ended up being a 148. Sooooooo I wanted to go with something totally new this time around and tried McGraw Hill. The strategies given were so much easier to follow and my score improved 20 points!! Now, obviously that's not going to happen for everyone, but I would invest more time with this book. My Kaplan book is now in the trash. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I am not affiliated with Kaplan, except to tell you that I will be enrolling in their program to undo the damage done by this book. Not only are there incorrect answers throughout the book, the questions are not similar to what you will see on an actual LSAT exam. Also, the book boasts to have a total of EIGHT practice tests when you count the two extras on the CD. However my CD only has 7. Also, while attempting to take a practice test, I finished up section two, hit the 'finished' button, and was re-routed to the first question of section 1, which was the Logic Games section - which I had already finished. The top said I was taking the 'reading comprehension' section, and was on 'section 2' but I was Logic Games, the same I had seen in section 1. Also, the section TWO that I had just finished was a logical reasoning section. Anyway, I re-entered my answers just to see what would happen and hit 'finished.' It then told me I was DONE. I didn't even take a fourth section?! Apparently, I somehow scored a 164 even though I didn't take a fourth section. To make a long story short, this book will frustrate you more than it will help you. Like I said before, I am NOT associated with Kaplan, but I can tell you that a Kaplan book will help you more. I have also heard good things about Princeton Review. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
