    Stream-Streamkit

Stream sat sadly on the floor. Glimmer had given him a choice as to what to do. He could go to a center where he would either be put to sleep or adopted. He had an even chance at both. Or he could live in the wild. Glimmer had said this would be a better choice. Why he didnt know. Stream got up and went to Glimmer. "I'll go into the wild." He whispered. "Good." Glimmer purred. "We will go tonight. Get a good sleep." So he did. That night when all was quiet she led him to the cat door. They slipped silently into the night. When they reached the fence Glimmer stopped him. "Stream when you get over the fence keep going straight. Then you will reach the woods." She paused blinking sadly. She licked his head. "Good bye Stream." Then slipped off into the night. Stream crept under the fence. On the other side was grass. He padded foreward warily. He kept going. Finally it began to get light. Just a few fox-lengths away were the woods. Finding a bush Stream slept for a while. When he awoke he crept farther into the woods. He found a cat scent a few fox-lengths in. Following it it got fresher. Soon he found the cat. It was a brown she cat with a white chest and paws. "Who are you?" She asked. "Im Stream." He meowed quietly. "Stream." She mewed thoughtfully. "Wheres your mother?" Stream explained what had happened. "You know Glimmers not your real mother. In fact i knew your real mother." The she cat said. Stream was taken aback. "Really?" He asked warily. She nodded. "Your mother died ktting you. Glimmer only had one kit. The kit was Pearl. You and Rose are real wild cats. Come on. I need to tell Redstar." The she cat mewed. "Wait! Who are you?" Stream asked as she ran off. The she cat halted and turned around. "Sorry. Im Leafpetal." She explained. Then ran off with Stream following behind. (Next post at new life result three)
