Memories of the Future, Volume 1

Snark and silliness make for a fun read

I wasn't entirely sure what to expect when I got this book. I only knew that after following Wil Wheaton on Twitter that I was probably going to enjoy his writing style - and I was right! He takes you episode by episode of the first half of Season 1 of Star Trek: TNG. He provides his own sarcastic recaps and tells you exactly what he thought of each episode. Add in some behind the scenes memories, a self-deprecating sense of humor, and enough geek references to make your head spin and you have a really fun read. I look forward to reading the next volume.

too many books, too little time!

I've been given the opportunity to review Wil Wheaton's book, but unfortunately, I haven't started reading it yet!I purchased my Nook so I wouldn't have piles of books waiting to be read lying around my house. Instead, I have files of books waiting to be read on my Nook! I'm sure it will be well worth it. He writes about his experiences on TNG. I like what he writes on his blog, I like TNG, it got to be good right? I have no doubt that I would recommend this book. Wil is on Twitter, look him up, he links to the blog. You won't be sorry.
