Can Melina and Rafe have their dream?

Continuity writing can't be easy and Ms Crosby has shown that it can be rewarding for the reader. I don't know how easy or hard for her it was but it's a good one! The Fortunes of Texas:Lost....and Found has just gotten a very good contribution. A reunion story that's just the best! We know it's not easy to be a teenager and plan live together with a special someone and expect it to be that way but at 14 they fell in love and at 18 they went to college with a life planned together. Melina Lawrence and Raphael Mendoza, chosen "Mostly likely to Wed" in their year book, but it didn't turn out that way. Here it is 10 years later and they come face to face again. First at her sister's wedding then over a possible legal case. Melina's an occupational therapist and finds she and her partner have taken on a 10 y.o. with Asperger's Syndrome, he's a baseball fan and would love to play Little League. Asperger's children have little natural ability to socialize but are very bright but do need help. Little League would be a good thing for Elliott and he would love to play. He has met the Head coach and they had a run-in that Elliott didn't even understand. Rafe has known Beau forever and Beau's a hard man. Beau throws Rafe and Melina together as private coaches for Elliott. The sparks do fly! We read of their misunderstanding 10 years ago as well as their communication problems today but we see they both care for the other still and have their love story now. Ms Crosby has written Elliott with care and understanding of an Asperger's child. I thank her for explaining to those who haven't dealt with an Asperger's child it does take the extra effort but there is so much to receive for both.
