This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL album, don't listen to folks who bash this

Okay, people might laugh when I say this, but this album is very, very beautiful and touching. This album is not ANY worse than any of his others. It is just as good, okay people???!!!! There are 3 songs on this album that are a little boring but they are BY NO means intolerable (Let Your Soul, All Four Seasons, and Lithium Sunset)! "The Hounds of Winter" is one of Sting's most fantastic songs. It's got a great rhythm, persistent melody, and nostalgic theme! "I Hung My Head" starts out very strongly, and I personally think it's a very catchy melody!! And Sting is VERY creative in writing out complicated rhythms!! And it's also shown in "I Was Brought To My Senses." What a good song that is too!! The fiddle and guitar duo is priceless in that song, and his voice flows over both of those instruments effortlessly. "You Still Touch Me" didn't "touch" me at first, but it has grown on me and it has become a Sting staple. It has a good beat, and it's just a darned good song!! "I'm So Happy I Can't Stop Crying" sounds deceptively simple, but it's a very wonderful song. In fact, I would put it in Sting's Top 20! Yes, I'll say it again. It's a very touching song about divorce, and it is NOT boring. It's a good song. That French song is good too! What's wrong, everyone? It's a cool song. Sting is perfect for singing in French! I enjoy the opening. It's got a good, catchy rhythm, and overall, it's a relaxing song. "Valparaiso" is a classicly Celtic-sounding song, and since I already love Celtic-sounding music, this was a great treat. So what if the songs are not necessarily "radio" material? That's not the way to necessarily evaluate music. If evaluating music only involved whether it was fit for radio, then we've got a huge problem on our hands. This has got to be some of the best music I have ever heard, from a man!! And his other albums are just as good as this! This is one of the albums that I tell myself that I've got to listen to after a long, hard, exhausting day. It ALWAYS relieves my stress, and my Sting collection would be TOTALLY incomplete without this album. Sting is by FAR my favorite singer and musician too!!! I can't think of any other musician on the radio that comes close!!
