    A Hint

If I recall the first book correctly, this is basically like the beginning of the first book. I love the Blackbird Sisters series. The family is very quirky. Mick Abruzzo is the "bad" boy you'd like to know better. If you haven't read any of the books before, try to read it in order.

A Great Read - Love This Series

WOW! I love it. So, this was how they met. This short story is a look back at how Mick met Nora and I can sense the romance yet to come. This was a great read and I’m so happy that a new book is forthcoming.

Not sure it was worth it

I enjoy the books so couldn't resist the prequel. Short story only available in this format, so I bought it, but not sure worth it as it was short.

Mick Abruzzo is the hunky on/off boyfriend of Nora Blackbird in the the Blackbird Sisters Mysteries. This novella explains how Mick first met Nora. Having read all of the books in the series, I always have wondered how the mainline Nora met ex-con and mob connected Miick and this novella gives a little insight into their first meeting. There is also a little look at Nora's sisters and background information on her first marriage. This is a nice teaser to get all of the fans ready for the long awaited new book in the series, No Way to Treat a Lady. Can't wait!
If you haven't read the 7 books in the series, you need to do so because they are great reading.
