    A great read!

This is a great read but be ready to pack your bags! If you've been contemplating a move to Mexico, this book will help to cement your decision. Karen writes with a down-to-earth style that clearly depicts the women she's interviewed and the lives they lead. She doesn't glorify life in Mexico -- there are plenty of ups and downs -- but does give a balanced picture, and her love for the country and her new life shines through every chapter.

    This book is Fantastic....Absolutely Marvelous

I got this at Barnes & Nobles and I started reading it right away. It got my attention, so much, that I did not want to put it down. I couldn't wait until the next morning so I could read more of it. The Author is funny, clever and smart. The people she interviewed were just great. They talk about their lives to the author and why they came to Mexico and how they are enjoying themselves etc. I read it in two days and I absolutely loved it! If you want to know things about Mexico etc., then you've got to buy this book. Thank you Karen Blue for your good book. Kathleen De Witte

    Real Life Indiana Joans!

First they brought us the sexual revolution, then feminism, now those always unconventional boomer women are moving to Mexico to reinvent the second half of their lives. It's a fascinating look at how empowered women are dealing with being marginalized and devalued as they age in American society. Read their stories, and you'll start thinking about what you can do to put pizazz back into your life. You'll be inspired by how these women have chosen to live outside the box.
