The Caterbird's tale

Twig: what were you saying? Caterbird: none of your buissness. Twig: im not gonna let you out of here if you dont! Caterbird: *sighs* ok fine. It was a cold and windy evening...
Vilnix Pompolnious: *walks into the study of the Professor of Darkness* i think theres a great storm coming! Are we sending an academic to chase it and get stormphrax? Professor of Darkness: mm-hm. We're sending... oh what was his name.... Quintinious something? Vilnix: *makes a face* Quintinious Veginix. Professor: ah yes, him. Vilnix: what does stormphrax look like? Professor: its pretty. Like light incarnate. Vilnix: *gets a scheming look on his face* how do they get it into the great chamber? The tunnels are dark and it would be super heavy. Professor: *paused* in a lightbox.
(next morning) Vilnix: *brings a shard of stormphrax to some apprentice raintasters in a lightbox* i got some pure stormphrax! Lets expirement on it! Raintasters: yeah! Sounds like fun! *they get some stuff to expirement with* (later that night) Vilnix: ugghhh. None of this is going to work. *puts it in a morter to crush it* *the light outside turns twilight coloured* Vilnix: *brings the pestle down on the stormphrax and turns it into dust* what in Open Sky-i dont know what i just did, but lets do it again! Raintaters: yeah! Sounds like even more fun! *grabs a morter pestle and another shard of stormphrax* Vilnix: *pours his dust into a jar* Raintasters: *crush the stormphrax* Stormphrax: BOOM! *the tower blows up, killing evryone exept Vilnix Pompolnious* Vilnix: ouch. *some of his blood falls into the jar and hits the dust and turns into water* huh? How'sd that happen?
(a week later)evryone: *walks into the great hall* Professors of light and darkness: Quintinious Verginix, do you promise not to come back until you have gotten some stormphrax? Quint: yes! Professors: ok then. Take a sip of this water and you're officiouly a academic! *hands him a glass with muddy water from the edgewater river* Quint: ew! Not drinking it! Professors: sorry. Thats the cleanest we've got. Vilnix: *walks up* i've got a solution! Gimme that! *takes the cup and dips a silver necklace thing with the dust in it into the water and hands it back to Quint* Quint: *takes a sip* mm. Tastes good! How'd you do that? Vilnix: in this pretty bauble there is a grain of dust made out of something i discovered. It has extreme purifing abilities. I've got a bunch of it! I call it phraxdust! Evryone: cool! Vilnix: i think its time we changed! Thanks to this discovery we can safly produce chains to keep Sanctaphrax down without polluting the water more! Evryone: yes! Lets do it! Quint: you all are dumb. Bye! *leaves* Vilnix: alright! Im the new most high acdeme! The professors: aww. Ok.
me: yep. Proof that the professors of Sanctaphrax need to study two things. Stormphrax and lying. They are dumb! Vilnix: no im not lying. Guards! Get her! Professor of Darkness: im not dumb. Guards! Get her! Me: ok bye. *runs away with a whole bunch of flatheads after me* i just realized. I should study the fact that the professors of Sanctaphrax kill people for calling them dumb!
hahahahaha goodbye!

Midnight over Sanctaphrax Book # 3

In this trilogy Twig finds him self in a very odd predicament. He has lost his crew-mates, and after Twig is reunited with his father. He loses him again, and then spends the rest of the journey struggling to recall what it is he's supposed to be doing.

I really did enjoy this book. To me, this book teaches young readers about loyalty. However, anyone of any age or race will enjoy the Edge Chronicles.

    I Also Recommend:

    Another Great Adventure!

This was another great adventure in which bold Twig sets off on a perilous quest to find his crew, who were scattered about after being tossed off his sky ship. Some of the crew members were easy to find but others were not. One of his crew was cast into Riverrise--- a place of wonder, that does not surly even exist. But this does not stop Twig. He boldly travels through rough and rugged lands and on to the "hopefully-existent" Riverrise. But will young Twig survive the harsh journey? Will he be able to outsmart the clever creatures lurking around each and every corner? Even if he does all this, will he reach the end of his journey only to be disappointed by finding out that Riverrise doesn't exist? Want to know the answers? Read the book!!!
