Highly Recommended for reluctant readers
Loved the way the book showed the dedication of a teacher to help a student become interested in Reading! My soon to be 2nd grader identified with Sam. He, too, does not enjoy reading, but this book struck a chord with him.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

Another fun story evolves.
Judy Finchler and Kevin O'Malley's Miss Malarkey Leaves No Reader Behind provides another Miss Malarkey tale, this telling of a principal who says he'll dye his toupee purple and sleep on the school's roof if the students read 1,000 books before June. Miss Malarkey is determined to turn her class into readers ¿ including the athletes, artists and video game players. But how? Another fun story evolves.
