Let's just say these are the best books ever L. A. Meyer and Jacky Faber are my heroes, and I am a hugely obsessive fan.

Not for the age group that is listed

I've been reading this series for quite some time, curiosity driving me on. The first four books I enjoyed tolerably well, but this one was so sensually explicit and foul that I couldn't read the whole thing. Don't let your kids read it.

    Mississpi Jack

Every book is a thrill to read and the adventures Jacky endures is one that you will never forget. After each turn of the page your dying to see what happens next, and if she will in fact one day re-unite with her one and only, Jaimy. This is the type of story you think about, wondering what it would be like to have a life such as hers. It has great plot twists that will make you want to keep on reading.

He stands in front of me, lifts the pistol and points it at my face. "You did not have the stomach to pull the trigger. You will now find that I, in fact do." He pulls the trigger...

This one seemed to be more for older teens and had a lot of interesting characters. We have Jacky being taken aboard a ship after being found out as a wanted fugitive. Later Jacky travels on a boat with Higgins and Jim not knowing that Jaimy is following her. During her travels she meets old and new friends all the while trying to get to New Orleans and of course hoping no one will recognize her as a wanted Pirate. Overall read it to know what happens. L.A. Meyer you are one of my favorite authors!

Jacky thrills readers with her impulsiveness again!

Just like Jacky's other books, she held me in her grips until i finished the very last page. Mississippi Jack is filled with adventure and danger and of course the love between Jacky and Jaimie that seems never to work out. If you loved the previous books, you won't be disappointed with this one! At times the book is a little predictable but that is what makes it fun to read and find out that you knew that was going to happen and why couldn't Jacky see it! I can't wait for the next book!
