    One of Mario's best books!

If you are always looking for different ways to cook vegatables this book is wonerful. the Vegtable receipes are easy, most of the ingredients are readily available and the photo's fantastic.
I love the section for pizza making with an easy crust receipe. There is even a section for kids pizza's
Mario also gives great information on cheeses the types and discription, aging process etc
    Information on meats for antipasta
Great Book, easy recipes , informative, fun to read, love the photo's.
The recieps for the pasta's are also simple. Mario discusses carb and heatlthy life style in the pasta section.
This book is very informative. I have totally enjoyed the information. Some Italian cookbooks use ingredients and foods I would never consider even trying but this book is chock full of many reciepes the average person would find delicious. I am anxious to try many of these.
    The Pizza section is outstanding.

"Molto Gusto"-Easy Italian Cooking-by Mario Batali. A cook book that holds true to it's name, "Great Taste."

I am writing a book review on a new cook book that I just ordered from Barnes and Noble titled "Molto Gusto" -Easy Italian Cooking by Mario Batali. If you know anything about the cooking world, you recognize the name Mario Batali. He is one of our most renown and respected chefs. And yes he is Italian, so that is where he gets most of his inspiration from in this cook book. If you like Italian food as much as I do, then you will agree with me that the title holds true to its name. This book is a collection of Mario Batali's favorite Italian recipes that are easy to make and truly have great taste, "Molto Gusto".
I enjoyed this cook book because the recipes were easy to make and the book was well organized and quite informative. The contents were broken down into seven sections-1) Vegetable/Antipasto (appetizer), 2) Seafood & Meat, 3) Bruschetta & Cheese, 4) Insalata (salad), 5) Pasta, 6)Pizza, 7)Gelato & Sorberto ( ice cream/sorbet). Each section included summaries of Mr. Batali's Italian favorites that he actually makes at home and in his many restaurants. The recipes were easy to follow, food illustrations were large and colorful each picture having reference to the recipe page and a glossary section of the ingredients Chef Batali recommends and uses with explanation. The veggies and pasta's are so tasty! Great cookbook to buy for a friend as a gift.
Perhaps the most important question that a consumer might ask and want to know about in this book review is "how did his recipes taste"? Well that answer held true to his book title, "Molto Gusto" meaning "Great Taste"!!! Perfecto, Mr. Batali!

    A must have...

The recipes are amazingly simple to follow with ingredients that can me found in almost any store. None of the "super exotic ingredients" found only in uzbekistan in April. Most of the recipes I was able to make in under half an hour, and I am not an amazing cook. So, for anyone looking for easy, traditional Italian recipes, this cookbook is a must have!
