    amusing salute to motherhood

In Orange Cove, Florida, four moms form the Mothers Coming Together group where they can meet to release some frustration amidst peers. Food critic Anna Swann is a divorcee struggling between ¿mommy time¿, Anna time and work time. Grace Weaver has a loving husband and three adorable daughters, but fears being fat hoping at any social encounter someone ¿out-obese¿ her as she still retains the baby weight psychologically as much as physically. Juliet wants to become a full partner at the law firm in spite of having the twins to take time away from work, but has a chance due to her house-husband Patrick even if it means less time with her family. Chloe is the newest mommy, but fears she is losing her spouse James who shows no interest in her or their son. These four females come together to help each other not just cope, but in raising their offspring and much more. --- Rotating perspective between the women, readers, especially moms, will appreciate this amusing salute to motherhood. The four females have distinct personalities and needs, which in turn makes their support group seem real. Well written, this is a warm lighthearted character study that Anna sums up quite nicely with her relativity theory that whatever you do there is not enough ¿mommy time¿ to complete the task properly as inefficiency is a way of life. --- Harriet Klausner

    Mommy Tracked

I thought this book was hard to put down! This author is amazing and I wish she would write more books. You feel like you really know her characters - kind of feels like you're easedropping on close friends. I have read all of her books and this is another A+! Enjoy!!!!

    Gaskell's Best Yet....

Not to take away from her other books because I am a huge fan of those as well... they had me LOL and staying up late... but Mommy Tracked has more depth. In between the hilarious predicaments, there is a truth and deepness as to what issues many moms face today. There is also so much more vividness to the details in this book. If you are a mom, this is a must read and if you're not a mom... just have fun!

Like having your best friends with you

Loved this book! All of the characters were so real, yet so funny. Most women can relate to at least one, I was able to see myself in all of the characters! I was so sad to see it end. One of my favorite books ever.

    New moms nust read

As a new mother I related to this novel very well. Many of the topics discussed in the book are situations I personally experienced or I know someone who may have experienced similiar things. It's a very entertaining light and easy read, which is important when time is limited while caring for little ones. Some of the content is adult in nature and there is some profanity used. If you like books by Jennifer Weiner, then you'll like this one.
