Nice book, but in reality hurts the children
This book was recommended to me by a person who worked in the court system, in the custody section. I read it and had my then seperated husband read it. We both thought it sounded great and began to practice it. Now, some 10 years later, I can see the damage it has done to my children in regards to their academic career. It is too hard for children to be moved during the middle of the school week and be expected to keep up on all of their projects and assignement. I wish I had never read this book, because I feel it has been a great detriment to my children.

Focus on the Children
This book had a thought provoking approach to trying to co-parent after a divorce. My ex-husband and I were able to use many of the concepts and ideas in this book as we tried to establish two healthy homes for our young son. The book helps you see some of the strategies, and potential pitfalls, in helping your child live in two households.

Excellent Guide to a Difficult and Painful Situation
This book was more than helpful...it gave me a guideline to follow in trying to keep the best interests of my daughter at heart while dealing with the dissolution of my marriage. My ex and I have been practicing this 'two home' technique for three years, with excellent results. This book has my highest recommendation. You owe it to your children to at least read and consider the suggestions.

A MUST FOR DIVORCING PARENTS
This book is a must buy if you are going through divorce/separation. It gets you to think of the needs of your children and bringing them up in two healthy homes despite the current situation.
