Jillian wrote about a mail order bride, Willa Conner, widowed, pregnant and homeless. Austin McDermot responds to her ad and sends for her. Austin was the last in his family to marry and had the most generous heart. Willa was an abused, work-horse by her husband; she lost hope, love and her dreams. She went about her marriage in the manner her dead husband made her. Austin was confused, he gave her a house allowance, new clothes and brought her into his family. Austin fell in love with a please, Willa had to believe that fairy tales come true. You'll need some tissues, as it is a real heart toucher.

    Draggy.........................................................................................................................................................................................
Which is a shame because the characters in the book start out likable. Then it turns into one of those ......He isn't going to sleep with her because he loves her to much.......she's going to leave him because she loves him to much. Apparently they are not tuned into each others feelings. Eventually they work it out of course but by then you will have fallen asleep.
