Must-have book for avid sky watchers!

I discovered this book with the 5th edition and loved it so much that I just had to update to the 6th edition. The 6th edition includes all the planet and eclipse information from 2003 to 2007. It appears that the B&N description above is wrong regarding the dates covered in this book (it is in fact describing the date range covered in the 5th edition). I can't speak highly enough of this book if you want a simple reference to learn about constellations and things to look at in the sky. After a brief description of sky terminology, the book is divided up into months. It highlights things to observe in the sky for each month. It is written in easy to understand language - you don't have to be an expert in sky-talk to understand it. One note, for those who may own the 5th edition - most of the text is the same - it highlights the same constellations each month, etc. It does include a new section on viewing satellites and of course it now goes through 2007 for planet viewing information. This book is well worth every penny!
