Love it! Love this series! A vampire series that a grown up can relate to. The love of a mother for her child knows no boundries. It pulls at my heart!

    LOVED IT!!

What a GREAT story!! I love the Vampire for Hire series. The characters are great. I love how JR describes the struggle Sam has with trying to balance her "new" life with trying to maintain a "normal" life. The emotional ups and downs... The decisions Sam has to make.. All lead to super 4th book. The story is fresh and answers the questions from book three. JR Rain has quickly become one of my favorite authors and I look forward to each and every book he releases.

    Love it!

I love all the books in this series and this on is just as good. You need to start with the first book of the series and work your way through them. I couldn't put any of them down!

Moon Child is the fourth book in the Vampire for Hire series. In the book, Samantha Moon, mother, private investigator and vampire must fight to save her young son from certain death. If your child is dying what lengths would you go to save him?

Samantha must fight another strong vampire. She still is trying to find balance in her life. She continues in grow in her vampire powers.

This is another great book by J.R. Rain. The drama is tense. The love every mother fills for her children is the focus of this book. Relationships are never easy.

Highly Recommen these books by J>R> Rain

Sorry haven't read this one yet, but have the 3 before and loved them. The different the writer shows the vampire as a mom and cop ???is what got my attention in the first place. I've read vampire books for years, before it was the thing to do. lol So I love for books with a twist to and these do.

    Keep these stories coming.

You must read the first three stories in the Moon series, because if you don't you'll really miss out on some great reading. Looking forward to the next one coming out around Christmas 2011.

Nice synopsis for a good series.

This final book of the series involves the protagonist finally coming into her full development. There still exists room for gurther development and there is a sense of "unfinished business". The vampire private investigator with her concience retained while learning the "ins &outs" of supernaturals in Greater Los Angeles keeps you reading! WHILE others have noted that the author "up sells" his other books in ever ebook ending pages. So you gain an automatic sample of the other books. WHEN'S THE NEXT BOOK GOING TO APPEAR?! :-)

    Really, J.R. Rain? Really?

This book didn't deliver. Instead, I read a short story that could have been summed up in his last book with the last hundred pages or so of promos of other works. I feel like the author dragged me into a great series, got me hooked, and then laughed in my face when I bought this last teaser. I just got screwed and it didn't even feel good. If there is to be a fifth installment in this series I don't know if I will purchase it. J.R. Rain would have to woo me first and even then I don't know if I could stomach more promotions.
