Loved it
Great story. I have read all her books, and I loved this one too. Made me feel part of the story, it allowed me to feel the fury of the magic and its sucess too.
The nightmare felt at times so real, that I too wanted to help him. Keep your books coming for reading them is like living another life for the time one reads them.2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

Janet Chapman provides a poignant tale filled with pathos, action, and love
In Midnight Bay, Maine former immortal warrior Kenzie Gregor is looking forward to starting life anew now that he has broken out of his panther curse. The druid Daar and William the still cursed dragon stay at his side as Kenzie buys them a place to live.--
However Kenzie feels guilty that the local bank sold to him an estate without the consent of its brain addled owner Widow Mabel Bishop and her recently divorced daughter Eve Anderson. Though not legally obligated he invites the mother and daughter to remain on the property. William is attracted to Eve, but the witch who cursed William visits the estate using her evil magic to place Kenzie, his friends and the Anderson females in peril.-----------
MOONLIGHT WARRIOR is a terrific urban fantasy romance starring a strong lead couple and an incredible support cast. The story line engages the reader due to the five occupants of what was the widow's home. Fans especially will feel for Eve as she watches helplessly as her beloved mom loses her mind; her stress levels between the divorce, her mom's declining mental health, accepting the seemingly impossible outside of fantasy tales, and falling in love must be astronomic. Janet Chapman provides a poignant tale filled with pathos, action, and love.------

great series
I really like the sparks that fly between the two, I just wish she could be just a bit nicer to him. Otherwise, I really like this series, and I like that each book builds on each other. It is nice to get a fuller view of the struggles of a couple, instead of just the one storyline and then supposedly a happy ever after.

Janet Chapman has really gotten good at bringing Highland Warriors into the 21st century.
Janet Chapman has really gotten good at bringing Highland Warriors into the 21st century. I highly enjoyed Kenzie and the difficulties he has run into while trying to adapt to this new century (very funny). The romance is a little slow paced, but definitely worth the wait. I found Eve to be a wonderful character as well. Eve's struggles with her attraction to Kenzie were very amusing (we all know how futile resistance is). Although both of these characters were wonderful the one that really stole my heart was Mabel. She is coping with her dementia, but is still a real firecracker. The author really did a great job of creating a blend of very memorable characters. This is a great addition to any highland lovers and romance lovers alike. I recommend for a roguishly good time.

Fantasy Filled reading...
This is the first Janet Chapman book I have read and enjoyed it enough that I went on line to B&N to see what other books she wrote in the series. I loved the wit and humor of William the dragon and best friend Maddy. I also have fallen in love with the Scottish men. They are so commanding and take control of their women. I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in fantasy and romance. It is an easy read. The only challenge being keeping up with all the characters in the story. I will definitely purchase her other books.

"Let's Hear It For Those Men In Kilts!"
I think I was one of her very first readers when she wrote about a sexy Highlander who just happens to be from Medieval Scotland, stranded in the year 2003! There is magic in the air and love is born! If you love a contemporary setting with a man from a different time, you'll love this book and all the other before it! "Moonlight Warrior" is only the beginning of a new storyline that started with "Charming the Highlander!"

Janet Chapman Rocks!!!!
Kenzie Gregor is a warrior who moves to Maine. Accompanied by Daar, a Druidic priest and William, a cursed dragon, Kenzie unknowingly buys Eve Anderson and her mother, Mabel's, foreclosed home. Worried about Mabel's health, Eve reluctantly allows Kenzie to hire her as a housekeeper. There's plenty of humor, with William & Mabels friendship to Daar's appetite and grouchiness. I couldn't put it down and read it in one night. Can't wait for more books from this author.

I love reading Janet Chapman, and was happy to see the return of the Highlanders. Didn't want to put the book down, and now am waiting for the next one to come out, just like when Janet started the other series. Hope she keeps us updated on everyone!
