This is the worst cookbook I have ever purchased. I would return it if I could. I bought this book on recommendations from various sites and even tried the recipes the reviewers suggested, but all tasted horrible, a few being inedible. Our whole family could not eat a single dish. They tasted very bland with a few spices added to try to give taste. Also, the ingredient amounts listed and preparation times were erroneous. Even the basic vegetarian information can be found in much more depth in other cookbooks such as the Vegetarian Times Complete Cookbook. Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this cookbook. If you are looking for excellent low-fat vegetarian fare try the Vegetarian Time series and 1001 Low-Fat Vegetarian Recipes by Sue Spitler.
