First let me say that I am  new to the mm shifter genre. However, with that said I would like to think that if a being is your mate then
the attraction should be so great that you would never sacrifice one for the other! But in this book the lion shifter Dillion was willing
to sacrifice his bond with the owl shifter Evin, for the house cat shifter Chester, simply because they were both feline! I just did not
feel love popping off the page! Or chemistry between the characters! I was recommended this book because I'm a fan of interracial
romances but I did not care for the dynamics of the story. This story read like Dillion and Chester were better matched because they
were the same in this case feline. And Evin was less of a suitable mate because he was an owl. But I thought that mates were
suppose to by half of each other souls? So I didn't get the whole one mate is better for me than the other mate, especially when the
book started with the lion wishing he could find his mate. Maybe if the story was longer the characters could have been better
developed. However, the characters did get their happy ever after, but it still seemed forced.
