Miracle Interrupted Series Book Five
Mo Vincent was running from a past. Running for his life. When he found Miracle, he bought the old rundown bar and started Mo’s Place. And hired Rosa after she left her husband and their restaurant because of his infidelity. She was everything he wanted and everything he couldn’t have.
Rosa Fabrini was starting over. With the gossip network in her little village you’d think she wouldn’t be the last to know her husband was a no-good cheater, but it seems the wife is the last to know. Now she’s ready to dip her toes back into the dating pool, not with her boss though. The last time she did that she ended up with her ex.
It seems rather hopeless for Mo to have a real life in case his past caught up to him. Not the kind of thing that was easy to outrun. He had secrets that he couldn’t tell anyone. Secrets that held him back from Rosa. Another great addition to this series.

Mo's Heart is comfortable, easy to read, and enjoyable. The pacing is about perfect with a story that doesn't pause and the ending is not rushed and contrived. It is very well structured with human, believable characters who aren't perfect, and a very original way to solve the main conflict of the story. The 5th book in a series focusing on Miracle, WI, I had no problems jumping right into the story and learning about the population of the village. Was this review helpful? Mo owns a restaurant and Rose works in it. Because they are employer/employee, Rosa is going through a messy split, and Mo has secrets of his own... how can they be together? The characters are real humans, with real human problems, and believable human solutions.
Ms Ramer writes with humor and emotion. I found myself chuckling, cheering, outright laughing, and crying. A pleasant reading experience.
I received a copy of the book for the purpose of writing a review.

This was a fun, quick read. I really enjoyed the first 2/3 of this book. I thought the characters were well developed and quirky and I liked the romance between the two main characters. However, the book fell apart for me in the last third. It was just too unbelievable and too nicely tied up. I was left shaking my head and saying "Come on, really?" The dialogue was pretty laughable at times too. Overall, it was a nice break from what I usually read. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Edie Ramer does an excellent job telling the story of Mo and Rosa in Mo's Heart. Mo is Rosa's boss at the restaurant he owns. He's in town hiding from his past. Rosa is dealing with a difficult divorce. There are sparks there, and they both know it but don't want to acknowledge them. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This is a book that makes you want more. In this book, you can easily tell there are back stories that must have been told in previous books, but it in no way hurts this book. This can be a stand alone book (although you will want to go get more by this author to read everyone's stories).
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's the kind of book that makes you wish it was a rainy day and you could read it all day in one sitting.
***I was provided a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This is the first book that I have read from this author and I was not disappointed.I just loved this book so much that I read it in one sitting. Once I started it I was dragged into Mo and Rosa's story that I couldn't put it down. I loved all of the characters in this book and wish I lived in Miracle. This town sounds perfect how they all know each other and stand up for each other like family. I was thrilled how the book ended. I am looking forward to reading more books by this author.
A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

Mo has went to the small town of Miracle hoping to stay under the radar from his past that is hunting him. He left behind his wife and son and can't tell them were he is or contact them. He has come to like the little town and his restaurant is doing good. He also wants the impossible his chef Rosa. She is everything besides his son he wants, but she is going through a rough divorce from a cheating husband. When she has to move into Mo's extra apartment the two see they may not be able to fight their feelings for each other. Mo's past is about to catch up to him and it seems the whole village is ready to fight to keep him, but will Rosa stick around. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Mo might not be the biggest or the most muscular guy but he has a heart of gold it seems. I think I fell for him from the start. While he is hiding secrets he still wears his heart on his sleeve. I will say without giving a spoiler when he gives a kiss to the top of a head that just melted my heart. You have to read to see lol . He is also in a lot of ways very loyal person.. Rosa is so fiery and proud. She has been kicked down by her horrible husband but she stands tall. I love her she is everything a woman who has been cheated on needs to see. She never lets the blame be placed on her. there is tons more characters in this book. Most I loved however there was two I really hated. good reasons for that and when you read you will see who.
This is first book in this series I have read and yes it reads perfectly by itself. I will have to check out the rest to see more of this fascinating town. I loved this book and really felt like I was dealing with a huge family not a town. It is that easy to bond with these characters and the book. The plot is a good sound one that keeps your attention the whole book. There is some action in this book that I loved seeing. You get to see just how a small town/ village bonds together. There is several scenes I just had to laugh out loud at. A basement scene had me in stitches and almost made me wake my husband up. I just no I am going to ramble so I will wrap this up. The main characters belong together and you hope for the best the whole book. I really think anyone who loves a good sweet story will amazing people you can see as friends should read this book. You will not be disappointing.

The first part of the book was great, middle sorta drag on some, last part amazing did not want to put the book down, until I was at the last page. So, I give "Mo's Heart" four stars, it have alot of interesting twists & turns in it, keep you wanting to read more.
In's "Mo's Heart" start out with Mo Vincent, found a little town in Wisconsin, call Miracle. He saw where a run down bar/restaurant for sell. Mo got it fix up, he just open a restaurant, have a small stage, sing karaoke. This way the villagers could come enjoy a nice meal & each other company.
Mo, has a crush on Rosa (sous chef), since she started working for him. He knew she was leaving her cheating husband, but did not make it easier on him. Rosa, has start dating again. He did not like it. But, he did not want to get involved due to he still have a wife & son(Dario), back in New Jersey. Mo writes he son regularly, but the letters go thru several persons before his son get the letters. Let him know that he doing ok, that he could not let him know where he live.
Rosa, though she was close to getting her divorce, when her husband girlfriend, kick him out & let him know that the baby was not his. Mike (Rosa husband) decide to move back into their house. Inform her that he did not sign the papers; That their youngest son Nick, let his mother know that she got to go back with his father. Rosa, could not call her lawyer, since she was away on her honeymoon. Rosa, pack her bags, went to see if Mo, would let her move into the other apartment above the restaurant.
Ok, that all going to say, about "Mo's Heart; do not want to spoiled the fun out of it. So you have to read the book, to find out these questions. Why did Mo leave New Jersey, that he left his family and everything; Also, why did he not want his son to know where he live.Did Rosa & her husband get back together or did her Mo get involved.
So, go get yourself a copy of "Mo's Heart", today. You Will not be disappointed.

This was such a good story. The characters in Miracle are pretty down to earth. Mo and Rosa in this story, Mo’s Heart, don’t experience the head over heels, knock yourself out type love that make you wonder how realistic it is. The love here is strong and romantic, but a little more realistic. It grows and becomes this amazing thing. Mo is the owner of a restaurant in which Rosa works. Their past circumstances has pushed them together and the chemistry the two have show just how much we need to believe in fate. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Edie does a wonderful job developing Mo and Rosa, along with the other characters in the book. I love how sweet Mo is and the spunky Rosa. Because they are in their late 30′s/early 40′s they have a maturity about them, they show respect to one another and the story almost feels like a true story. The ups and downs they go through together are real, almost like reality TV, yet very well done (not in an overly dramatic, trashy way).
What kept me reading the book? I had to find out how Mo was going to escape the Mafia and how Rosa was going to settle things with her soon-to-be ex husband. I had to find out how the town was going to rally around and protect Mo. I had to find out what was going to happen with Mo and Rosa. They love each other so much and the odds that they could be together are not great because of the obstacles in their way. That is what kept me reading the book.
I always enjoy reading about characters from past books and Katie from Miracle Pie made an appearance in this book as did her specifically-named pies. I love Edie’s humor in her books. She had me cracking up several times at the one liners her characters would spout off. The next minute she would have me tearing up because of an argument between a mother and son that wasn’t going the way we expected or a happy reunion between family members. She likes to put the reader through the same emotions her characters feel.
Edie knows how to write awesome, heartfelt, engaging romance stories that just make you feel good when you are done reading them. They bring hope and motivation to people that might experience something similar in their lives. If you are looking for a heartwarming, family oriented, small town romance, I highly recommend you try Mo’s Heart!
