Knew who the killer was half way through

I agree with the person who said this book was predictable. I did enjoy reading it. It could have been a little harder to guess. I would recommend it but just know that you'll figure out who did it by the middle of the book.

No mystery here....

I found a few inconsistencies in this book. Did anyone else notice that the killer is portrayed differently in the middle of the book from the first part of the book? Also, the story is a little far fetched 'i.e., Rachael being able to get access to police files even though she is not a Portland police officer????'. I don't think I would recommend this book if your looking for suspence or a good mystery.

    Great...Until the End

Excellant story, until it got to the end. Very disappointing and non climatic.

Credibility is strained from the start, but I could overlook that if the story were engaging enough. It's not. Perhaps I started out disappointed because Kirsten and her husband in the first section fail to discipline their teenaged daughter for her constant reprehensible behavior: it is difficult to sympathize with characters one cannot like or respect. I really liked the other two main characters, Lindsay and Rachel, but by the third section the story line had been stretched so far it kind of snapped.
