    Reading "Mother Teresa and Me" by Donna- Marie Cooper

    Reading "Mother Teresa and Me" by Donna- Marie Cooper O'Boyle we learn lessons in loving Jesus. To get a glimpse into the spirituality of Mother Teresa from someone who was by her side and also in communication with her through letters is something to be treasured. This is a book I will keep bedside to be read and re-read for the spiritual treasure it holds. It is interspersed with pictures and letters of spiritual encouragement of Mother Teresa giving hope to readers that we too may become holy. This book is easy to read and captivates the reader right at the start from the first line in the Forward by Teresa Tomeo and on to the Introduction chock fu of wisdom. This book from start to finish will be an inspiration and lead us to a greater desire to love Jesus with all our heart. Lisa

    I want to start off by stating that I read this book cover to c


    I want to start off by stating that I read this book cover to cover(191pgs) in less than 8 hours(while taking care of 3 kids), which is something I had never done before. I could NOT and would NOT put this book down. I have never been so moved or captivated by a book in my life. It is a rare and personal look at a very special one of a kind friendship. Donna-Marie is such a wonderful writer who lets you in and shares her personal relationship with Mother. She shares her personal correspondance with Mother so that we can for ourselves read about just how amazing, inspirational, motivational, thoughtful, & generous Mother was to her. I would recommend this book not just to Mother Teresa followers but for anyone who wants to deepen their relationship with Jesus. I believe that everything Mother Teresa said and did made her a living example of Christ for us. I found so much comfort and support in this book while reading Mother's words about suffering. If you want to love Jesus more you must understand his suffering and no one understood this better than Mother Teresa. Thanks Donna-Marie for writing such a thought provoking, life changing, & inspirational book.
