    I enjoyed this book

    Placksin did a great job offering honest narrative accounts of women entering motherhood, her book is very informative, and great as a reference offering a honest overview of a women's perspective transitioning into motherhood. However, I did not feel like there was any truly practical real life advice in this book. I got the impression that she was on the outside looking at other mothers telling them what they should be doing. I would have enjoyed the book more if I felt like she was down in the trenches with us sharing her tale of surviving the early years of motherhood.
