This is a great read with a GOOD ending. This doesn' t fall short. Women if you like Sons of Anarchy, I think you will enjoy this.

Tacky

This guy is such a loser. Agressive in the extreme. What woman out there would tolerate their man saying, "I own this!" I nearly busted a gut laughing. I let my husband read it and he just shook his head and said "Tacky." I totally understood him.

    Tack is mean

Main character Tack was really hard to like. He was downright mean and too dominating. This book just didnt do it for me ,and I love Kristen Ashley books. Cant recommend it.

    Really?

I can't bring myself to finish this book. This was recommended as a good alpha male book - which the maim character Tack is. The dialogue between characters is like something out of a white trash trailer park. I can' t believe so many people liked this book!

    Boring

This book had a promising start but went nowhere quickly. Made it to page 67 and was bored so I stopped reading it.

    New book cover

Who is that guy? Not Tack. We all picture differently, but that is not even close with basic features. Maybe it is Shy and cover designer was confused.

    Terrible character

Tack is so abusive. I really hate his character. I know the author was trying to go for dangerous but it came off as abusive and sleazy. Her attempts at passion had too much of a rape feel. When she tried to make him protective it came across as stalkerish, controlling, selfish, and demanding. I kept wondering if this how things get started for all those women who can't seem to get away from abusive men. Here's their relationship: Tack does something incredibly abusive, she doesn't like it and want's out, he throws her barely a crumb, and she clings to that tiny crumb in an attempt to ignore the mountain of abuse and disrespect he throws at her. But it's ok because he makes her feel alive and see color. How lovely. I tried to like this book, and I tried really hard not to hate Tack after reading so many positive reviews, but I really hated him and all the author's attempts to redeem him failed for me.
