This short horror tale reminded me of one of those Saturday morn
This short horror tale reminded me of one of those Saturday morning Creature Feature movies I watched on TV when I was a kid. The kind that encourages one to hide under the covers come bedtime. Mr. Jitterbones by A.P. Fuchs delivers with the same intensity--a sure-fire, hide-under-the-covers, spine-tingling treasure.

AAA
Liked what there was of the too-short story. It was creepy and then suddenly it ended and left me disappointed. So many of these authors write very poor endings!

Good
A good short story, but the end was a bit odd. The setting and tone were very well described. And, the connection to Jack the Ripper was made successfully. The conclusion of the tale was strange, because it did not actually end. I was not familiar with this particular legend, so additional information would have been helpful.

The poem at the end seemed out of place, especially after the unusual ending of the short story. However, it was an interesting poem and well written in its own right.
