Half way through and so MAD!

Okay I'm going to finish this book but I have to say, I'm half way through and I hate hate hate this book. It is 25years later the Darcy's have three children (grown) and that interested and excited me. That is until I started to read. The Wickhams are back and up to their old tricks, The Darcy's oldest son runs off with one of their daughters...already been told BORING!!! No orginality! Elizabeth and Darcy are uncaring parents to their eldest son...Never would I have seen them as such. I came to write this because he has just been possibly fatally injured and they can only consentrate on his faults...It's almost as if they are happy that he may die and their younger (more beloved son) take Pemberley! Disgusting...I lost my brother to a car accident and I was offended by this. No matter the faults of the people we love Death is never a preferred outcome! I had to slam shut the book. I will finish and report my feelings on the second half!

    The Bobtail Novel

That is what I call a novel that has an ending that just seems to cut off. This one does just that. There were so many more ends that needed tying up, but Ms. Birchall saw fit to just cut those loose ends off. A simple paragraph to explain away things that would have made for good reading if she had explored them. The Wickhams being applied to for their daughter's hand in marriage. The poor girl's wedding would have made for some spirited reading. No, this book was spoiled by a trite and truncated ending.
