Great 2nd grade reading material!

My once reluctant 7 year old reader now LOVES to read and this series jump started that. We were having trouble finding chapter books to hold his attention and engage him and this series has done just that. I highly recommend it to anyone with a child reading on about...

We were having trouble finding chapter books to hold his attention and engage him and this series has done just that. I highly recommend it to anyone with a child reading on about a medium 3rd grade to early 4th grade level in the accelerated reader program.

Not my favorite

My 6 year old was looking for some new chapter books after reading the Ready Freddy series and a few of the Stink Moody books. Although the reading level was similar with this book, I did not really like the attitude of the kids towards school and towards adults. Ther...
My 6 year old was looking for some new chapter books after reading the Ready Freddy series and a few of the Stink Moody books. Although the reading level was similar with this book, I did not really like the attitude of the kids towards school and towards adults. There was a lot of "stupid" and "weird" comments, which I don't think kids really need any encouragement to use. We'll search elsewhere for more books at this reading level.

    Mrs. Dole is out of Control

    Love the series, didn't know we should read them in order, so we are back tracking and reading #1 & #2 (we already read #3) but no big deal....like the author (he's from New Jersey)....

    Highly recommend.

    Terrific reading for children starting with First Grade. Can hear the children giggling as they read the book. Have the whole series. As an adult, I even enjoyed reading this. Children learn new words and, in most cases, can identify with at least one character in each book.

    Hi ok say this is helpful i am a little girl i am 9 about to turn 10 ok i love the book i love how they give the most details and that everything is so funny oh and my dads nameis in in i love the people who send me meassages on my club my book club i mean ok so do what i told you love everyone
