10 Architecture Walks is an outstanding guide to New York City's architecture and history--entertaining and informative and beautifully laid out with color photographs and easy-to-read type and maps.
Francis and Matt write vividly about New York City's architecture, history, city planning, public art--everything that makes the city so interesting. Francis quotes Henry James and Matt describes the Bryant Park Hotel as "luxuriously minimal." This is not your average tourist guide book. This book is for tourists and New Yorkers and everyone who loves New York City.
