Diet Savvy and Mystery In One
In this cozy mystery the main character is a real woman with body image issues in her forties. While running the struggling Gray Whale Inn, she hosts a diet retreat filled with mostly women looking to lose some pounds over the course of a week. While serving up the low-calorie dishes to the group and trying to keep her inn afloat, she also needs to solve the murder of one of the group's instructors before her boyfriend is arrested for the crime. As the book develops, the reader discovers the histories of the characters, some more painful than others. The story, the character development, and the sub-plots keep the reader interested. The solution is seen before the end, but the book is still an enjoyable read. The story has a mix of mystery, romance, history and recipes. Would be a great summer read!

A great entertaining read in a continuing series.
This series continues to intertain and grow in maturity. The plot in this one is more complex and keeps you guessing. The characters are wonderful and draw you into the story. Again I find myself anxiously the next book.

very good series, captivating setting, original plots
this is the third book in this series - it is every bit as good as the first two. intriguing plot, interesting characters, captivating setting!!
