The devil is indeed in the details!
Richard Carson's Murder in the Thumb is a detailed account of a gruesome murder that took place in Caro, Michigan (just the next city over from me). The author took great pains to present all the facts; however, these could have been substantially trimmed. (I think some material should have been included in appendices.) However, there's no denying that this is one fascinating story, with unforgettable characters. That it is a true account makes it all the more spellbinding. If there had been some judicious editing, I would have given it a top score. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
