This book is amazing! It is totally for those die hard GN'R fans like me. This book is filled with Steven's stories of early life, to his drug addictions, to seducing any girl he just so happens to walk by. It is very well written by Steven, and he is very open minded, and straight forward about things. He holds nothing back. I highly recommend this book, it is a great read.

Wow...

I am glad I read this but it only makes me feel really bad for Steven Adler and even worse for his young wife. He seems like such a nice nice guy but also sooo... mentally not there. Wonder if he thinks it was all worth it now. I bet he does.

    Good Read for GNR Fans

I thought this book was good as it takes you from the early life of Steven Adler and how he went on to become the drummer for Guns and Roses. It also dives deep into his self destructive drug problems which led to him being fired from the band. It explains his friends with Slash (Saul Hudson) and the animosity he had toward Axl Rose. Although he seems grateful for his time in GNR -- I get the impression he is resentful for not being apart of the band for a longer period of time. It dives into the lifestyle of a rock and roll band and the pitfalls that can accompany success. In the end it's amazing that this guy is still alive with all the self inflicted wounds he caused himself. But it sure makes for a nice story....

I Thought his book was very well written and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of the band and hard rock music in general. I think he got a chance to tell his side of the story.

It was a good read and Steven is very open about his past. The one major negative is that Steven is still blaming others for his problems. He is mad at Slash for not being there for him or "having his back", but after all the failed atempts to help Steven, who could blame him.

    Wow!

This man is truly on the road to destruction. If you watched him on the reality series Sober House and Dr. Drew, you can tell what kind of a path he is/was on. His book makes you wonder how he made it this far still upright and breathing. If you like to read about the Rock n Roll lifestyle, than this is it for sure.
