My Heart's First Steps: Writings that Celebrate the Gifts of Parenthood
A great introduction to parenthood for those of us new to parenting. I got this as a gift when my husband and I found out we were pregnant. It has been my constant companion. Highly recommended!

A good book to cuddle up to....
Heartwarming lessons and anecdotal stories that really will reach parents, parents to be, or uncles and aunts who have that special niece or nephew. From the start to the end, very consistently done, something often missing in books with multiple competitors. Well crafted and edited, you can leave this book on your table and let your friends enjoy it.

My Heart's First Steps: Writings that Celebrate the Gifts of Parenthood
Lots of books are written about what you should do as a parent. This is the only book I've found that talks about what it feels like to be a parent. Plenty of 'been there, done that' moments and lots of encouragement and support. I wish I had this book with my first!

Just beautiful!!!
The editor is to be commended for gathering this collection of poems and essays and shaping them into this wonderful book. I cried while reading these stories: from sadness and gladness and all of the things that go into being a parent. Reccommended for parents and grandparents and those about to become parents.
