    Breath-taking Romantic Epic!

One of the most romantic books; powerful, funny, beautiful, thrilling, heart-wrenching, imaginative, seductive. A romance with bite! Original characters, a wild, wild world of pirates. A 'must add' to any romance collection! I read it twice.

    My Lady Pirate

I believe I counted a 10 page lovemaking scene in this book. That is all I will say about that. Don't let anyone read over your shoulder. I have to say though that there were other things I liked about it. The narrator's voice is strong and written with tongue in cheek. This will either make you laugh or cringe, depending how 'serious' you like a romance novel to be. But on the other hand, sometimes this book is so thoughtful that I underlined passages so I could re-read them and think about them. The thoughtful moments in here separate it from almost any other book in the genre. (Which is a surprise because it is so light to read.) I have to say also that the history is exactly right. I am a pirate buff, and often cringe at the portrayal of pirates as studs who just happen to be pirates (sort of). This book is about real pirates. She got it almost exactly right. If you're not a pirate buff and don't already know, this book is a good resource for finding out what piracy really was (and wasn't). Just be prepared for the casual tongue in cheek and have fun with it. It is smart, erotic, and interesting.

    My Lady Pirate

My Lady Pirate is a passionate and exciting page-turner. The love-scenes were very romantic and sensual. It is historically accurate and realistic, which is unusual for a pirate romance. The hero and heroine are believable and likable. It is unique. I would recommend it to my friends!
