Alexia goes from innocent girl, to mistress, to wife, to pirate.
The book shows how powerful love and lust are. The steaming scenes are prime examples of how little difference there is between sex and rape. How a Male can believe his intentions are to attack and end up protective. How a Female can believe she is unwilling and end up burning with passion and love. The night Alexia looses her virginity could be called seduction, rape, or unbridled sex, depending on how one looks at it. Her awakening after that turns her into a sensual creature, as hungry for her lover as he is for her.
Historically this takes place during the revolutionary war, when America is fighting to be free of England. This provides examples of what life back then might have been. Powerful examples of the role Privateers plaid in that war. -

Not a typical Connie Mason read!
This book is so different in style from Connie Mason, that I doubt she was the author!!!!! Even the steamy scenes were so different from her typical writing. Also, this one the main male character actually has sex with others and even rapes the main leading character--several times. He's cruel, selfish and I never liked him. I started hoping for Drake to step in. I DID NOT like this book and I am a Connie Mason fan!

Sex, Sex, Romance, and Then More Sex!
Connie Mason is one of the best Romance-Erotic Novelists in the Business. Her Mix of Love and Erotic Lust is a great combination! She really gives you a Amazing-Stunning-Sexy read, but I have to say this book is, well UNIQUE & DIFFERENT. The storyline basically is about a Goregous Virgin who is married, and is not exactly sure of herself. Then along comes this man, who wants revenge against her father, so like any erotic novel he captures her and forces her to be his 'Love Slave.' His plan is to take her 'Gift' of Sex, and use it to say that he was the first with her! Making her father forever realize that his daughter's love was taken by a Rogue and Rival.(Really a basic storyline that SLIGHTLY envolves from there) Later on in the story the young LADY, go on a Lust factor of Revenge herself, were she becomes the young sexual VIXEN. ******Review****** The story was honestly tacky, but for some reason I couldn't put it down to save my life. A great read, just for fun, not an epic of Drama and Love. To be honest what keep the story going was the Sex scenes, which were amazing!!!! But the story I'll give it 3 stars, but 4 stars because of the SEXY love scenes with tons of men. :) So read it for fun (:

CHEESY
This book was good in some areas, but had more than enough cheesy and hoaky parts. However, Connie Mason does write a steamy love scene.
