Refreshing and Innovative!
I read this book to my five year old son, and it instantly became his new favorite book! He enjoys this book as much as I do. It gave him a space to join the discussion on the familiar name he has heard 'Barack Obama', and allowed him to connect to adults' "important" world on a level he can understand. He is now interested in our planet and calls me out if I don't recycle! I recommend this book to children up to 10 years old, both boys and girls. The illustrations are beautiful and the book timeless, yet addresses current events children are constantly hearing about.
