    I expected more...

Reading the excerpt of this book I was intrigued and excited to try a new Presents author. It started off well enough, especially the prologue, but the whole story revolves around Sam's ex-wife's wedding to his cousin. This was kind of weird, and not really romantic. Sam doesn't want to go to his ex's wedding so makes Ellie, his PA, go with his mother! There was a huge attraction between Ellie and Sam, but they both make mistakes with each other and don't communicate. It bothered me too that when Sam took Ellie shopping for new designer clothes for the wedding she insisted on paying, even though she has huge plans for all the money she's saving! She wants to get IVF to have a baby and to be able to afford all the things a baby needs, as well as a new car. It irked me that she insisted on paying for designer clothes that she couldn't really afford, to go to his ex's wedding with his mother!! Ok, now that my rants over, if you take out the whole wedding stuff it was a pretty good book, when the focus was just on Sam and Ellie. I really wish the ending was better though, it just stopped kind of abruptly. There should have been an epilogue where they get married and have a baby, but it just kind of ends when they tell each other they're in love with each other. I was hoping for more.
