Myth of Sanity: Divided Consciousness and the Promise of Awareness
I loved this book for the STORIES, intense, extremely readable. Definitely not just another book about trauma and survival. This one is about how the mind works, and I do mean everyone's mind. I missed a whole night of sleep because I couldn't stop reading.

Myth of Sanity: Divided Consciousness and the Promise of Awareness
This is one of those rare-find books that could really make a difference. I learned a tremendous amount about myself, and other people too.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND
If I could, I'd give it a 10 star! If you dissociate, have DID OR MPD, this is the book for you. I'm only 1/4 thru it, and it has already helped me sooooo much. Thanks to Mandy & Maxx for the gift card that bought this book for me!!!! What a blessing!

It put it all into focus. Outstanding.
I only read this because 'The Sociopath Next Door' was so interesting. I didn't expect to be picking up a life-changing book. If the professionals know these things, why don't they tell the rest of us? Why let us live with that nagging, disturbing question in the back of our minds: Am I just a little bit crazy?
