    I love Nate the Great

Nate the Great books started my addiction to mystery books. I can remeber the day I first found a Nate the Great book in the library. I loved everything about it - Rosamund, Fang the dog, and all those pancakes. Great books!

    Lessons

This books show how good it is to pay attention to details and follow steps to find out how things could have happened in this story or how did something disappear. Is great how this author brings this information and teaches the children a valuable lesson without really making it look like a lesson.

    more from this reviewer

    What a wonderful find....

I adore mysteries and have since my first Trixie Belden at age seven. My grand daughter has been slow to read but since we are a reading family she has almost been forced into our passion. She found this in her first grade library and read it completely through in one sitting, turned it in and took another out. She likes Nate and she loves the fact that we both read mysteries. My Mother is the "book grandma" and has always sent books for any occassion. I told Mother to go ahead and get the whole series for her and then send them out when she wants to give Abby a prize.
