What a great read
After reading and thoroughly enjoying Gilstrap's Jonathan Grave series I decided to give Nathan's Run a try and I was not at all disappointed. The story is suspensful and moves along at a great pace that keeps it exciting and impossible to put down. I found myself so involved with the characters that I actually teared up in the end.

Outstanding book for all ages
Nathan has a problem, and within a few pages we all have that problem. Trying to put this book down is almost like trying to give up breathing. I can see anyone from teenage to my 70's age being captivated by this.

BEST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I first picked this book up in the second grade finished the first chapter when my librarian told me it was not suitable for my age group. Years past and even though i forgot the name of the book i still remembered the impact it had on me as a reader. My mom figured the title out from my description and got me a signed copy from the author. It truly is top 5 books i have ever read.

I didn't want to like it, but its really good
I found myself sneaking away at work to read more of Nathans adventure. I think John Gilstrap is my new favorite author, sorry to say for Vince Flynn, Brad Thor, Lee Child & Dick Marcinko.

Great read for any teenage boy.
This was an excellent book. As a 16 year old and a junior in high school I found this book to be one of the best I ever read. It's a story that takes the reader on a trip right next to Nathan as he tries to clear his name and find out why he's a target. With a destroyed childhood, the twelve year old has no one he can turn to and meets many friends along the way, like a talk show host. Anyone who is trying to find a book to read and wants to be hooked from page one should pick up Nathan's Run.

Lance Ives- Nathan's Run
Nathan't Run is a fast paced story about Nathan Bailey, who was dealt a bad hand in life and his hand is only getting worse. Nathan must learn to rely on his own courage to escape the police, a stoned cold hit man, and the half of the nation that wants to have young Nathan killed. The book has an extremely engaging plot with twists around every corner. The book lets you root for the underdog and gives you chills as the action heats up.

What an Intense Trip!
First off I want to say that John Gilstrap has some of the best characterization I have read in awhile. Nathan¿s Run takes place over a two-day span of time. Mr. Gilstrap does not waste any of this time on fluff. The author uses his pages wisely to develop realist characters and plot. The villains are especially nasty and the heroes are flawed but very likable, good solid heroes. Mr. Gilstrap does a great job in weaving these characters into a very believable and real plot. There are only two things that I¿m sad about, one that I didn¿t read this book sooner and that it ended. I really wanted it to continue for a few more chapters, but the book is called ¿Nathan¿s Run¿. So if you are looking for a good chase book with good characterization and plot, you won¿t go wrong with ¿Nathan¿s Run¿. This is a wonderful book; I look forward to reading more of John Gilstrap.

Real Story
I really liked this book because from begining to end it was interesting. It starts off as Nathan being accused of stealing a car by his uncle. He is then put into a Juvenile Detention Center were he is approached by the guard in a harmful way. Nathan kills the guard in a matter of self defense. Ever since then Nathan has been on the 'run' from the law because he escaped from the Detention Center. No one belived him excepted a cop who is willing to help him.

This will Keep You in your seat!!!
Nathan¿s Run is a phenomenal book. Gilstrap pulls you into ¿Nathan¿s World¿ with its extreme suspense and real to life dialogue. This is a heart warming yet suspenseful story that creates a connection with the characters. Every minute of the book keeps you wondering what happened. If you like murder mystery/suspense books you should absolutely read this novel. It will probably be one of the best books you ever read. And for all those who don¿t necessarily enjoy reading, this is a book for you.
