Not just another kniting book.
while I haven't had much time to use the book for knitting any baby and toddler patterns readomg the book and looking at the instruction for the items was interesting. The pattern instructions seem to be accurate and well written but not necessarily for the novice knitter but rather for an intermediate to advanced knitter. However, if you are a novice knitter you could try the patterns if you can read and follow the instructions as given. Check your gauge and have fun with these patterns expecially if you are a Mother-to-be or a grandmother. I think these patterns will inspire you as you knit them. Was this review helpful? A charming book for grandmas and/or moms who knit
I bought this book because I will be a grandma for the first time at the end of June. The book contains several charming knitted designs for babies and toddlers. I haven't started anything yet because I still don't know the gender of my grandchild, but I am itching to get started. Since the book comes from Great Britain, I am not sure of the availability of some of the supplies, but I have my fingers crossed. All the yarns they suggest are natural and organic: alpaca, soy silk, hemp, bamboo, corn fiber, etc. It's a delight to look through. I see the author has a crochet book for babies and toddlers, too, and knits for dogs and cats! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
