    Wow, Emotional Roller Coaster

I think I should have listened to this on tape. I got this feeling half way through that I wanted to know what happened but I didn't want to watch, like closing your eyes during a scary movie, but that is impossible to do when reading. I powered through because I had to know what would happen to everyone. this is a powerful book about a powerful disease. Being a social worker, I have had one experience with Munchausen by proxy and it was devistating. This book is a very realistic portrait of the disease and what it can do to a family and the difficult way to prove it. It is a very serious book, it is raw with emotions and you need to be ready to step into the emotions whole-heartedly, but read it, embrace it and know that it has a great deal of truth within it.

    Sad to see them go!

I read the book in just few days, which is unsaul for me a, mother of a 17 month old. The book took ahold of me and it was like I knew Indie and I felt everything she did. I found that as I appraoched the end, I would read alittle and then put the book down as to prolong it's ending. It gripped me and I look forward to reading it again soon. This book oddly took me to a strange sereal place that I really look forward to again in T. Greenwood's new book, Breathing Water.

This book kept me reading for hours, I just could'nt put it down. Indie Brown has forced all of her chilhood memories out of her mind. These memories that she would rather forget revolve around a mentally ill mother who abuses her own children in horrific ways. Indie had been succesful in keeping these memories out of her mind until one evening she recieves a call from her younger sister Lili. This phone call forces Indie to travel back to her childhood and relive the horrible experiences she had with her mother. MUST READ!!!!

Just could not put this book down. The writing was superb, powerful, compelling. I didn't want the story to end but simply go on forever. I will recommend this to everyone!

A wonderful, mysterious novel about young woman trying to make peace with her twisted family, while trying to understand her very normal boyfriend. MUST READING!
