    I Also Recommend:

    Funny, good, read.

This book was entertaining. It was a little bothersome with the " marks missing in a majority of the conversations. It was hard to discern when a character finished their sentence and there internal monologue starts.

Other then those few distractions are her first novel I applaud the story and characters and onlu wish the the build up to the bad guy at the end did not fall so flat.

I never really felt the threat from him.

    A charmer

Book publicist Gia Felice struggles with keeping in line her horde of supernatural fiction authors. The problem she deals with is that she must keep top secret from the buying human public that her stable consists of writers who not only write novels about the paranormal, they do it from first hand experience. Her clients are mostly vampires or werewolves though she has an occasional ET to take care of.-------- Gia vows to remain mortal although some of her stable have offered to change her. She has no problem rejecting their advances except for Johnny the vampire whose intense desire makes her reconsider her position of remaining mortal. Meanwhile as he turns up the heat, another vampiric writer Bella demands she find the vampire who turned her and she believes killed her husband.---------- Taking an amusing bite out of the urban paranormal trend of vampires, werewolves and other supernatural species, Chris Salvatore provides an entertaining satire that lampoons the underworld occupation of New York. The story line is fast-paced, filled with action and stars a full blooded heroine and an anemic hero who ironically wants to serve her (thank you Twilight Zone). Fans will enjoy this lighthearted satirizing of the latest publishing rage as Ms. Salvatore slices and dices the urban vampiric society affirming that even the undead want to make it in Manhattan by taking a bite of the Big Apple.--------- Harriet Klausner

    Absolutely LOVED this book!

I found this book to be extremely stimulating, exciting and it helped quench my romantic needs 10 fold!...........The story is not unlike other Vampire romances in nature but the Author gives it that extra punch that takes you away form the "normal" stereotype........There's action, love, sex, desire and powerful yet very creepy villains who help make it that much more alluring.............I couldn't put the book down and I read it again the next week............I hope there's a second in the works and that it becomes a series because it could be an amazing series.

Don't waste your time or money

I absolutely love vampire books, but this was just plain bad. There were spelling and punctuation mistakes that are common in fourth grade. Although I'm not sure if that is a reflection on the author or the editor, either way it should not have happened. For example, thigk instead of think, "you'd had had" and quotations where no one was speaking. And that's just a few examples from the dozens that were there. The back cover said that she was in publishing, but from what I read, she must have sucked at that job.
She spent so much time building up the antagonist and gets you so excited only to have it resolved in a very anti-climatic single paragraph. I'm not exaggerating, its over within one lousy paragraph. I normally don't bother writing reviews as I like everyone to make up their own mind, but I couldn't let others read this without trying to stop them first.
