A thick read.
I won't lie. I bought this graphic novel based entirely on the author. It took me well over a year before I pulled it off my shelf to read it. It was interesting, not bad. Though I doubt I'm going to be reading it again anytime soon. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
Great introduction to Gaimons World/Work
For someone who has not read much, or any, of Neil Gaimons adult fiction this graphic novel would be the perfect introduction. The story is very engaging and the characters have enough depth that you are interested in what happens to them. It is a quick read, something you can get through in a day or two easy afternoons. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. The artwork is absolutely fantastic and is a shining example of what can really be achieved in four color graphic novel print. The blandness coming in stark contrast of the vivid images discovered in London Below. Glenn Fabry is a master in every way, known to me because of his work on "The Preacher." If you enjoy this graphic novel, make sure to pick up the novelization as well.
