I bought this zippered pouch to protect my nook because I am a klutz. Not only does my nook fit but I can put a few accessories in as well, like the power cord or Lyra Light. I recently purchased the easel cover and though it is a stretch (ha ha) the sleeve still works. The price was reasonable, too. The only thing missing are handles.Show Less

DON"T BUY.
I was so excited to see this case but i am very disappointed. It doesn't fit snugly around your nook and is quite thin so i still feel like it is unprotected in my bag. The worst part is the inside has stained my nook! The dye has left black lines on the left and right ...Read More

DON"T BUY.
I was so excited to see this case but i am very disappointed. It doesn't fit snugly around your nook and is quite thin so i still feel like it is unprotected in my bag. The worst part is the inside has stained my nook! The dye has left black lines on the left and right on my newly purchased blue back. Now i need to buy a brand new back as well as a new case.

Neoprene Sleeve in Night
Exactly what the nook needs to protect it from small bumps. Not beautiful but does the job. There is room to store the cable and charger also.

STAINED MY NOOK! DONT BUY!!!
Got this as a gift and it STAINED my white nook!!! Irritated to say the least because appearance wise it makes it look dirty. I tried cleaning it and nothing helped. I called customer service to complain about it and kept getting transferred from dept to dept and was finally told that they said without a receipt there's nothing they can do!? I find that really hard to believe but what can I do!? it was a gift!? SUCKS BIG TIME! Not even a store credit to purchase a different cover or anything!? Please, your called customer service for a reason!!! LOVE my NOOK but DISLIKING Customer Service right now...Dont buy this product, you have been warned...especially if you have a white NOOK!

Neoprene Sleeve for Nook
Excellent product. It protects my Nook perfectly. The only problem I find with it is that there is no room for the charger. At home this is ok, but for traveling, the charger would have to be packed separately from the Nook.

The sleeve has a good feel.
The sleeve is working well and i i realy like the material. The best thing about the material is that it does not have the tendenace to pick up lint and debris. It stays neat an clean. the only thing that could make this product better is the placement of a flexable plastic between the outer cover and the inner padding to offer a secound layer of screen protection. I am always worried about cracking the screen.

Nook Sleeve
Really like the sleeve. Keeps it safe and easy to use. Only wish that the cover was a little thicker for added protection. Good product for the price.

Good Sleeve
I definitely recommend this sleeve if you keep your nook someplace that tends to collect dirt, like a purse or backpack. The only downfall is that my nook cover does not fit in the sleeve as well, but if I had to choose between a cover or the sleeve I would use the sleeve solely.

basic and simple
It's a simple pouch to put your nook in. It's your basic squishy neoprene, so it will give your nook some light cushioning. If your nook is going to be rattling around with a lot of other things in a backpack or briefcase, you might want something stiffer, like one of those leather envelope cases, but if not, this is a nice inexpensive cover for your device.

Find another sleeve
The neoprene sleeve is mis-shaped at the top, all around the zipper, essentially giving the entire sleeve a weird bubbly shape at the top. If you look very closely at the pictures near the zipper you can sort of see the bulge i'm referring too. That's further accentuated when you actually see the device, making the sleeve look/feel oversized around the nook.
Wait for 3rd party vendors to produce a quality sleeve, and save your money until then2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

Best Accessory I've bought for my Nook yet!!!
So far this is the best accesory I've bought. It is perfect for someone who takes thier Nook everywhere they go!!!! Well constructed and durable design. Zipper closure is great for easy access. I've had mine for over 3 months and it is showing no signs of visable wear. When purchased it is packaged with a foam insert to act as a Nook filler, I've left mine in to protect the screen incase something would bang against it. If you have a fancy cover, it probably won't fit inside the case. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a durable option to protect thier Nook and it's a great value for what you get!

marks backplate
I liked this product at first, until I noticed black scrub marks on my pretty green backplate. I nearly always place the Nook in the case with the touch screen at the zippered end. These black marks start in precisely the same place as the zipper on either side, and continue along the bottom edge. The marks must be coming from the rib of rounded fabric that cushions against the zipper. I am very unhappy that this product has ruined my backplate, and now I must purchase another case and a new backplate. I wish I had kept the receipt!!

Affordable, Form Fitting and Odorous
I bought this case because I wanted affordable protection for my nook.
I'm not particularly rough with my nook (in fact I baby it) but I wanted some added protection for transportation, especially for the screen.
This sleeve is form fitting and stylish, with a subtle "n" logo on it. The first thing I noticed after taking it out of the box was that it smelled very strongly of neoprene.
I put my nook into it and went and poured myself a cup of water. When I came back to my comfy chair and took my nook out, it smelled very strongly of neoprene and made my hands smell like neoprene as well. I went on a 3 day vacation over the weekend and left the neoprene sleeve at home in front of a fan to air out. I brought my nook in the box it came in, and by the time I came back, the neoprene smell was almost out of the nook backing but not quite.
When I came home, I was disappointed to see (and smell) that the sleeve still smelled strongly of neoprene. The smell of neoprene bothers me, and it hasn't went away in 4 days.
I will be returning this to the store tomorrow and probably purchase a cover instead.
If you are sensitive to smell, the odor on this may likely be a deal breaker. However, if you don't mind the odor and are looking for affordable, simple protection for your nook, this is the case for you.
Besides the smell, I don't have any complaints about this case. I am giving it three stars since it's a nice case, but the strong neoprene odor prevented me from using it.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

stains your nook.
I've just noticed that this particular sleeve stains your nook, so I would recommend getting the sleeve in white. I've given it two stars because it serves its purpose ( although its to expensive) and I don't have to worry about the screen getting scratched, On the other hand I've noticed that the sides and corners of my nook have black stains/smudges. Also when I brought it I noticed a chemical like smell.

Simply But Functional
I've had this case since April and it's done an excellent job of protecting my Nook. It's a very simple construction, not necessarily fashionable, but the neoprene is soft and it does an excellent job of keeping my nook safe from damage. The only criticism i have is that i've noticed that the back of my nook on the sides appear to be slightly stained black from the dyed stain.

Protects the nook decently
I like the sleeve, however after only a few weeks of use (purchased immediately after my Nook), it is leaving black marks on the back of my Nook. Not something you want on a pristine cream colored device.

Great for protection without bulk
I just bought my nook and love it! i got the neoprene cover as it is easy to store the Nook in and for extra protection for the screen, I kept the foam packing sheet my nook came in to put inside the sleeve. it is a snug fit but works. I shall buy another sturdier case soon or let Santa know for Christmas! :)

Wonderful for rough traveling
I bought this for overseas trips to protect my Nook from rough handling, drops etc. It works very well for that. I also think this would be perfect for protection during backpacking trips and camping trips. One note on this...because of the zipper, the case IS NOT waterproof. If you need to waterproof your Nook for outdoor trips I would suggest an inner wrapping of a Ziploc bag or something similar.

Neoprene Sleeve
Found this to be a good, basic, soft cover protector. Would like to see the addition of a wrist strap for carrying. Also would like to see a hard shell version for travel.

Neoprene Sleeve
I didn't know what I wanted to protect my Nook. I knew I didn't want anything heavy or anything to detour from the sleekness of the Nook. I thought why hold or fold back the cover like a book - may as well have a book. I was leaving on vacation and knew that I needed something to protect it in travel and at the beach. The price was right, so I thought I would try it. I love it. It protects the Nook, it's light enough that I can carry it in my purse and always have something to read. It's easy to pull out(there is also room for charger)and you can still enjoy just holding your Nook and nothing else.
