    Outstanding book

What a great book! It was a gift from a friend who knows that I'm struggling to 'nest' and am overwhelmed by the 'experts' and their books. This book made it actually seem possible to find my innner Martha Stewart -- with useful, down-to-earth tips on decorating, entertaining, etc. -- with some great essays on the topics from women I wish I knew. The tone of the book makes it all seem approachable and doable, instead of intimidating. I also really liked the suggestions of good websites and catalogs to find things. I'm planning to give this as a housewarming gift to several friends who have recently moved into new houses.

    I Also Recommend:

    Chicktacular!

This is a great read for anyone that needs quick ideas or just a quick pick me up after a long tiring day. I always include a copy in a newlywed's gift box (for inspiration) or a girlfriend's getaway bag (for a laugh). Just watch out for the book's disappearing act-husbands tend to enjoy it too!

Priscilla's Lasagna recipe is tops. This is Priscilla Presley's version of lasagna that she made for Elvis-and she was no cook!

I also love the Chicken Pesto Salad recipe. Quick and Easy.

A Fun Book and a Great Gift

This is a beautiful book to read and look at. It is a wonderful gift for any occasion, but especially bridal shower, graduation, mother's day, birthday or housewarming.
