    Passed it!

I just took the Net+ exam and passed it. All I used was this book and the author's website. That's it. I've been working in the IT field for about 2 months. I had no idea how much I didn't know until going through these labs. The book delved into OSI in ways that make it real. The door opened, the light went on, and I just got a bonus raise for acquiring the cert!!! Thanks!

    This one is good...

This book is worth the money and beyond. I am a networking consultant, but never bothered to get the net+ cert. However, one of my clients required it. I picked up the Exam Cram2 for Network+ and this book. Both are great, this book has about 25 or 30 labs that deal with the exam objectives. After going through both books, I can easily say that my knowledge level has skyrocketed, and I also passed the exam with flying colors. Couple things though: - as of today, the name of the author on this page is incorrect (the author's name was David) - the page count is a little off, the book is a little less - Sometimes the author delves into deep subjects of data communications which are well written, and intense, but may go beyond the scope of the exam. But aside from those points, the book is excellent and I recommend it to anyone who wants to take the Net+ exam.

Recommend this to people studying for Net+,

I'm glad I picked this up. It helped me to pass the exam. Used this book & TestKing, and passed with an 831. (554 is the minimum, 900 is the max passing score). The exam cram books only have about 5 questions per section but if this book had more I probably wouldn't have needed any other materials. This is another example of a great Exam Cram book and I recommend this one to anyone looking to learn handson network+ concepts and pass the exam.

    Excellent!

Great lab manual!! Most of the lab manuals out there have labs that don't work, or are not really related to the certification. However, this book delved into the labs I needed to learn and explained how they corresponded to the real exam. Also, there was a lot of great theory that helped me pass the Net+ cert. The best thing might of been the support website www.technicalblog.com. And it was cheap! I recommend it to anyone who wants to get into networking. Thomas Sullivan
