What I wish I would have learned during my six figure education

This is a great book which deserves a place on the bookshelf next to "How to Win Friends and Influence People". As a female physician who struggles a bit in the social arena, I wish someone would have given me this information sooner, saving me some angst over the years. The underlying message of the book is about making positive communication changes and emphasizing important life skills. These tenants are presented in a highly approachable and easy to understand manner. Knowledge gained in several of the book chapters including "Search for Significance", "Art of Networking" and "Working a Room" makes the investment of purchasing and reading this book a bargain. Joe Sweeney's life anecdotes make for an interesting and entertaining read. Here's hoping someday I will have a "wing-man or woman" like Joe! Highly Recommend!!!

This is a good one! Don't let it get away.

Joe Sweeney shares his networking experiences in warm, personal stories that show how the process works. Reading and using the steps outlined in this book will allow you to network on a new, higher level. It is a must read for professionals.

    This one's a winner

I haven't yet finished this book by Joe Sweeney, but I have been greatly enjoying it, thus far. I'm currently unemployed, and a shy, tentative networker at times. That may be one reason why I am still unemployed. But I'm gradually shedding the shyness, more and more. This book by Mr. Sweeney doesn't fail to inspire and motivate! I love the stories and tips. I am working through enlisting his techniques, and in becoming better at this "sport (it really is a "contact sport" -- his title is ingenious)." I have recommended this book to lots of people already, and would highly recommend it to everyone, regadless of employment status. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Buy it!!! :-) You won't be sorry. When I can, I plan to buy copies to give as gifts, as I do with other books that have so positively impacted my life.
