I am not a reader, but when I heard this story was coming out I put in my order as early as I could. When I got home from work on March 1st it was on my porch. Today March 3, I've completed it. I was so into this book I couldn't put it down. I walked more miles on the treadmill in the last 48 hours than I have walked all week. The writer did a great job with this book. It brought back so many memories of the endless days spent in the courtroom during this trial. I was impressed. After speaking with several friends who love M. William Phelps, I will be reading more of his work!

This was such a sad and traggic story. These four kids with so much potential instead chose to lead themselves into a path of destruction. Easy way out. No need for a job, sell drugs. Lie around the house all day watch TV. I had least sympathy for Rachael. She had such a loving family who cared so much for her. A beautiful home and a father who made sure all she had all the comforts she needed. Instead she chose to turn her back on them and move into a drug infested home with a bunch of losers. Where were the parents of Tiffany and why would they turn their house over to her to do as she pleased. As a neighbor, I would certainly alert the authorities. As for Christine, she deserved much more than she received, the death penalty. I think the author did a decent job writing this story. Caution, you may feel depressed for a few days as the details will linger in your mind and know that it was for real.
