Cure Breast Cancer and Enjoy Cooking Too

I bought two of these Better Homes & Gardens Cure Cancer Cookbooks for my daughters. My youngest daughter has Stage 4 Breast Cancer and I love cooking. I wanted to share my love with my daughters. Since I have had my Better Homes & Gardens Cookbook for many years, about 40 years or more. I knew the simplicity of the recipes. the down-home cooking that my children were raised on. So often in the early years, I used my cookbook as a reference and a learning tool. It never failed me.

The woman at Barnes & Nobles in Harker Heights, Tx. searched for the second cookbook as there was only one on the shelf. Thanks for your excellent customer service.

    Trustworthy "friend"

It was given as a gift so I didn't actually see this latest edition. My review is based on the copy I've had for years. It's my "go to" cook book and I'll assume this new version is just as good. My friend is an accomplished cook with several years of commercial cooking experience; she had mentioned the BHG Cookbook was one she didn't own but wanted. I thought this one was particularly good to give as a gift as it benefits the Susan Komen Foundation.

    Great!

Growing up, I always saw the good old red and white checkered cookbook in the kitchen. Now that I have my own family, I now use the updated Promise version. This has quite a few oldies and many new ones that I'm excited to devour!

    REFRESHING!!!!!

I LOVE this New Cookbook! Honestly, I only purchased this book because it was a limited edition. I already have the original red and white new cookbook so I didn't expect too much of a difference. HOWEVER, this book has some great refreshing new recipes along with some great classics. It is very informative, I love the additional recipes of the professional chefs, and I can't wait to try All of the recipes. You will love this cookbook. Get a few and help a good cause.
